Do You Know What's On Your New Clothing?
Do you wash new clothing before you wear it? Many people don't. They like the "new" look and feel. Your clothing can contain dye residue and chemical reagents called sizing which my be skin irritants. All clothing should be washed before wearing, even that sealed in plastic bags. Even the cleanest warehouses have problems with rodents and insects. These can leave germ ridden residue on clothing, bed linens, blankets etc. Anything you wear or that touches your skin in any way should be washed before using in order to prevent allergic reactions and possible spread of infectious disease. |
